This beautiful bird brooch, an allegory to Iris Apfel, also known as “the bird of fashion”, is an original piece from the 1980s. It comes from unused stock that had been stored for decades and is now revived to shine again.
The Iris Apfel Etsy Favorites Bird Brooch captures the essence of Iris Apfel’s maximalist spirit. Originally made in the eighties, it comes from genuine vintage stock rescued from an old warehouse in unused condition.
Only Two Left
Back then, several units were available. Over the years they sold out completely. Fortunately, I was able to find two more authentic pieces in a box which had been unspected yet. still preserved in their original state, a rare chance to bring back a design once chosen by Iris herself.
The only two brooches remaining today are here and youcould be one of the very few, and the last, to own it.
